"Give us the Pikachu!"
"We'll never give you Pikachu!"
In disguise again, a figure with blue hair wore a short pink dress and another figure with pink hair wore a short blue dress.
"Prepare for trouble!"
"Make it double!"
Meowth sighed as the two began, but then suddenly interrupted. "Make it double?! What's with dis discrimination against Meowth, huh?! It should be make it triple!"
Jessie blinked in mid-pose. "But you're just a Pokemon."
"JUST a Pokemon! I'm da top cat!"
"You're also ruining the speech," snapped James.
"It's time ta REWRITE the speech!"
Brock, Misty, Pikachu, Togepi and Ash watched, with bored expressions, as Team Rocket huddled together over a piece of paper, got into a catfight (pun not totally intended) and rewrote the speech. This happened in fast-forward, as such things tend to do.
"Okay!" announced Meowth finally. "We're done!"
"Prepare for trouble!"
"On the double!"
Ash, Misty and Brock groaned simultaneously, and Togepi started crying.
Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!
James: To unite all peoples within our nation!
Meowth: To gain opposition from every station!
Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love!
James: To extend our reach to the stars above!
Meowth: To steal Pokemon! (We couldn't think of a rhyme.)
Jessie: Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!
James: Surrender now or prepare to fight!
Meowth: How terrible will be your plight!
The three finished at last and started bowing. Ash and Misty clapped very half heartedly, and Togepi cried harder. ^_^.
Brock's eyes gleamed, meanwhile, as he was enjoying Jessie's bowing, because it means when she leans forward, he can see down her dress. ^_^;;
James noticed and smacked him over the head. Brock turned his lech-expression towards James, and James shrank back nervously.
Jessie snapped "see, I told you wearing that outfit was stupid!"
James got flustered and looked to Ash and Misty for help.
"Sorry, there's no stopping him," said Ash, trying not to laugh.
"He's not usually this bad, but he got dumped sixteen times yesterday so he's desperate."
James looked furious. "DESPERATE?! I'm the choice of someone who's desperate? What, aren't I pretty enough to..." he trailed off, realising that his comments are arousing several anxious looks from the others.
Brock turned and focused his attention on Misty. "You're looking really pretty today Misty..." he said, practically drooling.
Everyone started to look a bit worried. Sure, Brock was girl crazy, but this was getting a bit extreme.
Ash yelled "BROCK, snap OUT of it!"
Brock just mumbled something with a love struck expression on his face.
"I think there's something really wrong with Brock," said Misty worriedly, "this is too much, even for him."
"Last time he was acting all dopey like this was 'cos of that Gastly at Maiden's Peak," said Ash, thoughtfully.
James cringed at the memory.
"Brock," snapped Jessie, "pull yourself together."
Brock just smiled and moved very close to Jessie. She didn't appreciate this and from nowhere, a mallet was produced and Brock duly dealt with. ^_^.
"You three lovely ladies" - insert odd expression on James' face here - "are all single, right?"
The four Pokemon trainers looked at each other and made a mutual, unspoken decision.
"Actually," said Jessie, blushing a little (she's a good actress), "I didn't think to tell anyone, but.... Ash and I are sort of..."
Ash grinned back at her, getting into the game.
James looked wounded. "Jessie, how could you?!"
Jessie shot him a death glare and he looked confused, until Misty said "And James and I are, well -" She gave him a flirtatious smile, went over and took his hand in hers.
James finally caught on. "Oh! Oh yeah, yeah, Misty's mine."
Even acting could only go so far, and Misty shouted "I AM NOT *YOURS* YOU TYPICAL DOMINATING MALE! I HATE THE ONES THAT THINK THEY OWN YOU! THIS IS-" - upon realising Brock was staring - "-something I would only tolerate from my James.
James grinned, and all four trainers looked as if they were about to crack up laughing. Togepi looked really frightened to see its trainer holding hands with a 'girl', but Pikachu was enjoying this whole thing greatly.
Brock sighed. "Everyone has a girlfriend but me."
"And me," pointed out Jessie rather snappily. Misty would've said the same, but unfortunately, in James' case, it would've been a half truth. ^_^;;
"I guess," sighed Brock, "I'll go and see if Nurse Joy is free tomorrow night..."
"You already asked her four times yesterday," pointed out Ash.
"And twice the day before," finished Misty.
Brock grinned, spirits restored, and said: "Yeah, but I think she's weakening. I'll go try again. I'll catch up with you guys later.... seeya..." With one last attempted look down Jessie's top (and another application of her mallet), Brock ran off to find the Pokemon Center again.
As soon as he was out of sight, the four trainers broke into helpless laughter.
"That was great!" grinned Misty, "he finally stopped!"
"Yeah," said Jessie, "okay, now back to business. Give us the Pikachu!"
Misty detached herself from James and assumed a defiant pose.
"We'll never give you Pikachu!"
It was all starting again...
But, one thing this time was different. James' eyes gleamed, and he started towards Misty....
"What are you doing?" she asked worriedly.
"You're so pretty Misty," he said with a goofy, love struck expression on his face, "you weren't really pretending before, were you?"
Misty gulped and backed away. This was getting too much.
And behind the bushes, nobody noticed a small silver figure, hovering on fine shimmering wings... a Pokemon that if seen, would've made a fine catch for any aspiring Pokemon Master or thief. A new breed of Pokemon.
"Cu cu, cupid," it whispered, as its eyes gleamed.
